Enjoy lunch under our sensational double hammerbeam roof, dating back to 1573.
The menu changes daily, featuring fresh food made on-site from the finest ingredients.*
Tuesday to Friday from 12:00 until 14:00, serving freshly made food.
A bar is available for the purchase of soft drinks, Champagne, wine, and beer.
If you would prefer a less formal lunch, then The Garden Room is also open for breakfast, lunch, coffee and drinks throughout the day. Regular opening hours are 09:00 to 20:00, Monday to Friday.

Important information for Group Bookings of Middle Temple Lunch:
All groups of 25 guests and over will be served the fixed set menu of the day - all groups of fewer than 25 guests cater themselves from our self-service buffet.
For all fixed set menu groups, we need to know all dietary requirements and allergens in advance. Please inform our events department administrator at [email protected] should you have any specific dietary requirements or religious dietary requirements within your group at least 5 working days in advance of your visit. We are unfortunately unable to provide Kosher catering.

Tours
Guided tours are available around the historic and awe-inspiring buildings of Middle Temple. You will feel as though you are going back in time as you walk down cobbled lanes flanked with gas street lamps towards one of the finest Elizabethan Halls in the country.
The tour will take you into Middle Temple Hall with its magnificent double-hammer beam roof which was completed in 1573. Generations of royalty have all dined on our 29ft oak High Table – reputedly a gift from Queen Elizabeth I herself. Sir Walter Raleigh and Sir Francis Drake have been known to dine in Hall. It is also said that the first-recorded performance of Twelfth Night took place in Hall in 1602.
Tours take place at 11am on Fridays only, and must be booked with lunch in Hall. A minimum number of 10 people per group is required for a group to be booked. The charge for a tour is £16.80 per person.
Tours last approximately one hour.
