Join us for the Creative DNA x Studio Smithfield Open Studio, a two-day public event celebrating the culmination of an international residency programme delivered by the Paul Smith Foundation, in partnership with the British Council and Projekt.
Over six weeks, six fashion designers from the UK and Sub-Saharan Africa have been working from Studio Smithfield, taking part in a programme of mentoring, industry engagement and creative exchange. The Open Studio offers a unique opportunity to step inside their shared workspace and experience the ideas, collaborations and creative outcomes developed throughout the residency.
Visitors will have the chance to explore each designer's work, meet the participating creatives and gain an insight into the conversations, processes and cross-cultural collaboration that have shaped this year's programme.
