Join us for our Middlearth Strategy Battle Game Tournament! New players and experienced commanders are welcome. This will be a 16-player event.
Details:
A 3-round, 750-point, Middle-earth Strategy Battle Game one-day tournament, using the latest rules.

Timing
Registration: 9:30 to 10:00
Round 1: 10:00 -12:15
Lunch: 12:15 - 12:45
Round 2: 12:50 - 3:05
Round 3: 3:15 - 5:30
Rules and What to Bring
We will be using the latest published rules, army books, and any available expansion books. Legacy armies are allowed.
Players must bring one 750-point force of Good or Evil models following the rules for “Matched Play” on pages 154-156 of the Middle-earth Strategy Battle Game Rules Manual 3rd Edition.
Scenarios
Scenario Pools will be randomly rolled for by a Tournament Organizer before each round. Once a Scenario Pool has been used it will not be used again. Once a Scenario Pool is chosen, players will use the Veto rules listed below:
Both players roll a die. The player with the highest result vetoes a Scenario of their choice.
The other player then vetoes a Scenario of their choice.
The final scenario will be determined randomly between the remaining two scenarios.
Scoring:
Major Victory -Double or more VPs AND at least 6 VPs scored
6 TP
Minor Victory -Scored more VPs but not a Major Victory
5 TP
Draw Both players Scored the same VPs
2 TP
Minor Loss-Scored less VPs but not a Major Loss Condition
1 TP
Major Loss -Half or less VPs AND opponent scored at least 6 VPs
0 TP

Please bring:
Your 750-point force of good or evil. Proxy models will be permitted with prior consent. Only proxies that clearly represent the models they are replacing will be allowed (all models must reasonably represent all wargear and equipment).
Dice and tape measure.
Prizes and Awards
Prizes will be supplied through Adventurer's Guild store credit.
First Prize: $35 in store credit
Second Prize: $20 store credit
Third Prize: $15 store credit
Raffle: Everyone who does not place in the top three will have their name entered into a raffle drawing for an MESBG raffle prize
