Mid Sussex Meeples Game Days '27

Hello Meeples, it's 2027 and we're in our 10th year of hosting game days here in Burgess Hill, yep, 10 years, we must be doing something right.
We provide a perfect space for both experienced, seasoned gamers and to newcomers alike, looking for a fun, social and inviting hobby to partake in.
Our games library is constantly growing, each month we provide a selection of games for all ages, abilities and preferences.
We have our complete library list available to view on Board Game Geek, so if there is anything you'd particularly like me to bring then please check out the list and pop me a message and I'll make sure it gets brought along.

Attendees are free to use any game from the library or if you have games you want to play, feel free to bring those too, the choice should be endless.
Are you worried about attending...?
Please don't be, as the organiser, I suffer from Anxiety and Depression myself, our group, as with many others, both local and further afield, I've found to be a safe, secure space, whatever your experiences, worries or concerns, you'll be welcomed in. If you do have any questions, please don't hesitate to send them to me, where I hope to put you at ease and welcome you into one of the best hobbies you could be a part of.
If there is anything I've learnt in the last 12 years of being in the hobby myself, is that the people I've met within the board gaming community in general and at our group, are wonderful. I truly feel so comfortable with every last one of them. No judgements, no seclusion, just warm welcomes, inclusive fun and accepting new friends.
Our game days run on Sundays, every 4 weeks, from 10am thru to 6pm in the evening, giving 8 hours of uninterrupted gaming, if your up to the challenge, or just stay for a game or 2, it's entirely up to you. If you fancy short party style games, we have you covered, fancy something more meaty then we can cater for that too.
The entrance fee this year, as it always has, remains at just £5 for the entire day. The entrance fee includes use of the games library and access to refreshments in the form of Tea, Coffee, Squash and Biscuits. Additionally at all our Game Days, we have either a 'For Sale' or 'Bring N Buy' section, which you're all free to use, if you have any games your looking to pass on, or if you fancy, having a little purchase yourself.
Lunchtimes your free to bring your own or pop out and bring back lunch, as many do, we're so close to Burgess Hill Town Centre, with Greggs, Subway, Dominos, Waitrose and Iceland, just a short walk away.
Like I said, the charge for the day is just £5, and has been since we started running back in 2017. As long as we have the numbers and cover the hall costs. I'm happy to run the events as long as I can as it certainly benefits me, as I hope it does with everyone else who attends.
There are a few parking spaces available to the front of the hall but directly behind the hall is Cyprus Road Car Park. Unfortunately charges were introduced to the car park on Sundays last year, but at just £1.20 for the entire day, I hope this won't put you off.
Occasionally we also have designers attending our events looking to play test their games with us, looking for valuable feedback before putting their games up onto crowdfunding, out before publishers or even straight to store shelves.
