Hello Meeples, it's 2026 and we're back for another year of monthly game days held here in Burgess Hill.
We providing a perfect space for both experienced, seasoned gamers and to newcomers looking for a fun, social and inviting hobby alike.
Our games library is constantly growing, each month we provide a selection of games for all abilities. People are free to use any game from the library or if you have games you want to play, feel free to bring those too, the choice should be endless.
Worried about attending...? Please don't be, as the organiser, I suffer from Anxiety and Depression myself, our group as with many others, both local and further afield, I've found to be a safe, secure spaces, whatever your experiences, worries or concerns, you'll be welcomed in. If you do have any questions, please don't hesitate to send them too me and I'm more than willing to get back to you.
If there is anything I've learnt in the last 11 years, the people I've met at our group and the community in general, are people I truly feel so comfortable with, no judgements, no seclusion, just warm welcomes, inclusive fun and accepting new friends.
Our game days run on Sundays, every 4 weeks, from 10am thru to 6pm in the evening, giving 8 hours of uninterrupted gaming, if your up to the challenge, or just stay for a game or 2, it's entirely up to you.
The entrance fee for 2026 remains at just £5, always has done and 'hopefully' always will be. The entrance fee includes use of the games library and access to refreshments in the form of Tea, Coffee, Squash and Biscuits. Lunchtimes your free to bring your own or pop out and bring back lunch, as many do, we're so close to Burgess Hill Town Centre, with Greggs, Subway, Dominos, Waitrose and Iceland, just a short walk away.
Like I said, the charge for the day is just £5, and has been since we started running back in 2017. As long as we have the numbers and cover the hall costs. I'm happy to run the events as long as I can as it certainly benefits me, as I hope it does with everyone else who attends.
There are a few parking spaces available to the front of the hall but directly behind the hall is Cyprus Road Car Park. Unfortunately charges were introduced to the car park on Sundays early last year, but at just £1 for the entire day, I hope this won't put you off.
Additionally at all our Game Days, we have a 'For Sale' or 'Bring N Buy' section which you're all free to use if you have any games your looking to pass on, or if you fancy, having a little purchase yourself.
Occasionally we also have designers attending our events looking to play test their games with us, looking for valuable feedback before putting their games up onto crowdfunding or out before publishers.
