Mid-Michigan Spartans Visit the MSU Archives Scrapbook Collection

MSU Archives maintains more than 160 years of MSU's historical materials including original letters, diaries, photos, and oral histories. Its collection of student scrapbooks from the late 1800's and early 1900's reveal a campus and student experience vastly different from the present.

Join the Mid-Michigan Spartans as we hear from MSU Special Collections Librarian, Leslie McRoberts, and explore actual scrapbooks from the collection. MSU Archivist, Jennie Rankin, will be in attendance with selected scrapbooks.

There is space for 50 participants. The event will take place in the GREEN ROOM at MSU's Mail Library. Nearby parking can be a challenge. There are accessible spaces near the front of the Library and at the MSU Museum across the street. General parking is encouraged in the large pay-by-plate lot in front of IM West. From there, walk across the bridge that crosses the river and into the back of the library.

There is no cost to attend this experience. As with all Mid-Michigan Spartans' events, those interested in donating to the operations of our club are welcome to do so via the additional ticket option listed with this event. All contributions are appreciated and used to fund the general expenses of our programming.
