Mid-Michigan Spartans Behind the Scenes at MSU Veterinary Medical Center

Join us for a special guided tour, for our Mid-Michigan Spartans, of the MSU Veterinary Medical Center, where innovation meets compassion. This behind-the-scenes experience offers a unique look into the world-class care provided to animals of all shapes and sizes. Explore how advanced specialty medicine, emergency services, and groundbreaking research come together to support both education and community service. Whether you've experienced what we strive for as top of the line care in the most difficult of circumstances as a client, or you've always bled green and are eager to get to know another hallmark of Spartan service- we hope you'll join us!

Please Note: The Veterinary Medical Center is a fully operational animal hospital. During your visit, you may encounter live procedures, emergency cases, or sensitive situations. Some sights, sounds, or smells may be intense. If you feel lightheaded or uncomfortable, please notify a staff member—quiet areas and seating will be available. Please note that the tour portion involves a fair amount of walking. Please let us know if we can assist with accommodations.

Parking: Complimentary parking in the Wharton ramp will be available via a digital code provided in advance of the event to register your vehicle.

The (VMC) is a significant facility with one of the largest veterinary caseloads in the nation, treating approximately 30,000 to 30,854 patients annually across its specialty clinics, including companion animals and horses. The larger Michigan State University College of Veterinary Medicine encompasses 170,000 square-feet of office, teaching, and research space, with the VMC being a premier veterinary referral hospital within the college.

As with all Mid-Michigan Spartans events, an additional ticket option is available for those who wish to make a donation to support the operations of our club. The donation ticket is NOT a ticket to the event. If you wish to do both, make sure to select a general admission ticket and a donation ticket.
