Wrestling Legends Coming To Monroe August 1st!
David Crockett, of the famed Crockett family that promoted pro wrestling in the Carolinas and throughout the Southeast dating back to the 1930s, is coming to Monroe, NC next month, and he’s bringing a few wrestling greats with him.
The beautiful and spacious Union County Ag Center hosts our one-day Fanfest Saturday, August 1.
The festivities kickoff at 10 a.m. and, for 7 hours, fans will have the chance to meet, get autographs and take photos with some of their legendary wrestling heroes! Among those joining Crockett here next month will be WWE and NWA Hall-of-Famers The Rock-n-Roll Express, "Tully's Perfect 10" Baby Doll, and WWE Hall-of-Famer and former SmackDown general manager, Teddy Long.
Others announced as appearing thus far include Kerry Morton, Caleb Konley, "White Lightnin'" Tim Horner, Thunderfoot and Rocky Anderson.
Best of all, admission is FREE!
And parking is FREE!
There will be hourly prize drawings throughout the day for some really cool wrestling swag!
There will be assorted vendors with all kinds of wrestling memorabilia, as well as opportunities to get autographs and take photos with the wrestling heroes. More importantly, it's a chance for all of us to get together, one last time, and celebrate this special thing called Mid-Atlantic Championship Wrestling, which started here with the Crockett family many decades ago!

Autographs/Photo Ops:
A lot has changed in 20 years, as far as wrestling conventions and autograph signings go. The pricing has definitely gone opposite of fan-friendly.
At our Mid-Atlantic Wrestling Legends Fanfest in Monroe, we’re doing everything possible to keep it fan-friendly AND fan-affordable.
For all of our guests (Ricky Morton, Robert Gibson, Baby Doll, Teddy Long, David Crockett, Kerry Morton and Caleb Konley,) an autograph AND photo op will cost you 10 bucks. Total! Now, that’s fan-affordable!
Further explanation will be a tad lengthy, but should answer any question about any situation.
For each guest (again, can't speak for vendor guests,) 10 bucks gets you an autograph on your item (or our 8x10,) AND a photo op (selfie,) using your own camera.
That does NOT mean autographs or photo ops are 5 bucks. It is a package deal. For 10 bucks, you get both, one of each. No substitutions.
If you want 2 autographs, it will be 20 bucks, and also come with 2 photo ops.
