Early October, a few friends meet at a little city called Rocky Mount, in North Carolina.
Captains come from all over the country, and some from Canada. There are no contest, no best in show ships, just one rule. 1/96 scale ships are allowed to show and run.
It is a 3 day event, and sometime 4. We dont just sail. We tell stories. We exchange ideas. We trade hulls. It is a great event for all, and I look forward to it every year.
I hope you can come next year. It is worth the trip.
