Microdosing 101
About this Event
Microdosing 101: An Educational Workshop
Microdosing is everywhere right now — in conversations about mental wellness, creativity, trauma, personal growth, and alternative approaches to healing. But separating legitimate information from hype can be difficult.
Microdosing 101 is an opportunity to get curious, learn, and ask questions in a private, judgment-free setting at 3-21 No Kiddin’ Recovery Playground.
Led by Natasha Marie, a registered nurse with years of experience studying plant medicine who also teaches workshops in South America, this two-hour educational workshop will explore what microdosing actually is, how it may affect the brain and body, why people are exploring it, and what current research tells us — and doesn't yet tell us.
We’ll discuss topics including what microdosing is (and isn’t), how it works in the brain and body, potential applications being studied in connection with mental health including depression and PTSD, wellness and creativity, safety and responsible considerations, personal experiences and insights, and resources for continued learning.
This isn't about hype, judgment, or telling anyone what they should do. It's about education, informed conversation, and giving adults a place to ask the questions they may not feel comfortable asking elsewhere.
