About this Event

Discover the simple art of pickling in this engaging one-hour tasting class! Perfect for beginners and home cooks, this session will cover the basic principles of pickling, from balancing flavors to understanding the role of salt, vinegar, and sugar.

You’ll taste and discuss a selection of quick pickled vegetables and fruits while exploring a few versatile recipes that can be easily modified based on what you have on hand. Learn how to adapt flavors, swap ingredients, and create delicious pickles without the need for special equipment or hard-to-find ingredients.

We'll also dive into what types of vegetables and fruits are best suited for different pickling methods—whether you’re looking for crisp and tangy or lightly sweet. By the end of the class, you’ll have the confidence to experiment with your own pickling creations, turning everyday produce into exciting, flavorful additions to any meal.

No prep work is needed—just bring your curiosity and get ready to taste, learn, and be inspired!

To fully participate in the class:

1. Reserve your ticket through Eventbrite! Purchase one ticket for each member of your party. The ticket price includes admission and food for one as well.

2. Show up on the day of class! Class will begin at 8:30pm. This is a standing event in our retail learning setting. The duration of the class is about an hour.

IMPORTANT NOTE: Please reach out to [email protected] when you make your reservation if you or a member of your party has any food allergies or dietary restrictions or requires seating. Our classroom coordinator will help you to determine if the class can be modified to accomodate your needs. The health and safety of our guests is a priority for us.

CANCELLATION POLICY: If you are unable to attend a class, please let us know at least 72 hours before the class is scheduled to take place and we will give you a full refund or a credit for a future class. If you don't let us know in advance of the class, you are not entitled to any refund or credit.
