Have you ever wanted to tell your story through film?
Join independent filmmaker Saul Chan Htoo Sang for a hands-on introduction to documentary filmmaking. In this two-session workshop, participants will learn simple filmmaking techniques and create their own short self-portrait micro documentary using a mobile phone.
The workshop explores storytelling through archival photographs, voice-overs, and basic video editing. Participants will be invited to reflect on a meaningful moment in their lives and transform it into a personal short film that serves as both a mirror and a memory.
No previous filmmaking experience is required, although participants with film production experience are also welcome.
📱 Please bring a mobile phone with a camera to both workshop sessions.
