Mick Northwood Community Fun Day

Join us for a fantastic Community Day as we come together to celebrate the life and legacy of Mick Northwood, a true community figure who meant so much to so many and had such a positive impact within grassroots football.

Enjoy a fun-filled day for all ages, featuring a family fun day, a women’s 6-a-side tournament and an exciting charity 11-a-side match with special guests. There’ll also be a BBQ, plenty of stalls and activities to keep everyone entertained.

Don’t miss our raffle, raising vital funds for the Community Hospice who cared for Mick, supporting a cause close to all our hearts.

Info: 11 Aside Football Charity Match Long Lane Men's 1st Team VS DSB (including some special guests)

Info: A sports day themed competition will take place on the grass, all are welcome

Info: Tournament winners will be announced in the clubhouse and presented with the Shield. The raffle will follow after.

Info: There will be multiple stalls from food, toys, sweet treats, face painting and more..

Info: The venue will be open from 10am, the tournament will start at 10:30/11am and finish by 2:30pm. A short presentation and Raffle will take place between 2:45-3:15pm. Between 12-3pm there will be challenges and activities taking place on the grass in front of the astroturf. The 11aside match will start at 3:30pm and finish around 5pm. Throughout the day there will be a number of stalls and activities to keep everyone entertained.
