Michigan Roots Events: Young Entrepreneurs & Makers Market Agreement
By registering for the **Michigan Roots Events: Young Entrepreneurs & Makers Market**, I understand and agree to the following:
This event is **open to makers and entrepreneurs of ALL ages**, with a special focus on encouraging and showcasing our **young entrepreneurs**!
Vendor Fees
* **Young Entrepreneurs — age 17 & under: $15**
* **Adult Makers — age 18+: $20**
All registration fees are **non-refundable**.
Vendor Space
Each registered vendor will receive:
* **One table provided by Michigan Roots Events**
* An approximately **10' x 8' vendor space**
* Space for your display within your designated area
Vendors are responsible for setting up their own display, managing their own sales, and cleaning their space at the conclusion of the event. **Please keep all merchandise, displays, chairs, and other items within your designated vendor space.**
Vendors may sell handmade, personally created, or appropriately curated items that have been approved for the event.
Our Young Entrepreneurs
Participants **17 and under** must have a parent or guardian responsible for their supervision throughout the event.
We encourage our young entrepreneurs to take an active role in setting up their displays, talking with customers, and handling their sales whenever possible. This is their opportunity to learn, grow, build confidence, and experience what it's like to run their own small business!
Michigan Roots Events and the Hazel Park Recreation Center are not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged merchandise, cash, displays, or personal belongings.
By participating, I grant permission for **Michigan Roots Events** to photograph and/or video vendors, displays, and products for promotional and marketing purposes unless otherwise requested in writing prior to the event.
Bringing Our Community Together
This event celebrates **creativity and entrepreneurship at every age** while continuing to give our young entrepreneurs a special place to shine.
Our goal is to bring together the next generation of entrepreneurs with our community's makers, artists, and small-business owners in one fun and supportive marketplace.
All participants agree to help create a positive, respectful, supportive, and encouraging environment for our vendors, young entrepreneurs, volunteers, and guests.
By completing my registration, I acknowledge that I have read, understand, and agree to these terms.
