We are delighted to once again be hosting the Michael Beazer Works on Paper Prize. Generously supported by passionate art collectors Michael and Margaret Beazer, this acquisitive $3,000 prize celebrates outstanding works on paper as well as sculptural works created from paper, with the winning piece becoming part of the East Gippsland Art Gallery’s permanent collection.

Prize Details: The winner receives a $3000 prize, which includes the acquisition of the winning work for East Gippsland Art Gallery’s permanent collection.
• We accept artworks that are on or made with paper in any medium (e.g. painting, drawing, sculpture, photography, printmaking, artist books).
• No size limit, but if the artwork is framed, it must be ready to hang/install.
• We also accept works on paper that are not mounted or framed and these will be displayed using magnets.
• Works can be sold during the exhibition, but this is optional. East Gippsland Art Gallery takes 30% commission
