The South Brevard NAACP presents Mic Check the Vote, a FREE, nonpartisan community civic engagement and cultural event bringing together community, culture, civic education, local talent, voter engagement, and family fun!

Mic Check the Vote is designed to create a welcoming and culturally relevant space where residents—especially young adults and first-time voters—can get informed, get connected, and discover ways to make their voices heard.

Mic Check the Vote is a NONPARTISAN civic engagement event, and candidates, political action groups, and voter registration organizations are welcome to participate.
Complimentary booth space is available for:
• Candidates
• Political action groups
• Voter registration organizations
Registration is still required.

Once your status or affiliation has been verified, you will receive a registration code to complete your complimentary booth registration through Eventbrite.
Candidate & Political Organization Guidelines
Candidates may:
• Set up an informational table
• Meet and speak with community members
• Distribute campaign literature and informational materials
Campaign donations may NOT be solicited or collected at Mic Check the Vote.
Participation by any candidate, campaign, political action group, voter-registration organization, or other political organization does not constitute endorsement by the South Brevard NAACP or Mic Check the Vote.
All participants are expected to respect the event's nonpartisan civic-engagement environment and comply with event guidelines.
