Join us for Mi Masa Es Tu Masa, an informative and interactive cooking experience celebrating heirloom corn, traditional masa-making, and the ancestral foodways that have nourished communities for generations.
Sponsored by Masienda, this hands on workshop is facilitated by Isabella Martinez-Aleman, who will guide participants through an engaging discussion on the relationship between ancestral eating practices, traditional corn preparation, and gut health. The session combines storytelling, cultural learning, and culinary creativity, offering guests the opportunity to connect with food in a meaningful and delicious way.
Following the educational portion of the program, attendees will roll up their sleeves and explore the art of masa-making through a hands-on culinary experience. Participants will leave with freshly prepared masa and the skills to continue their journey at home.
