For the month of August, were are going to try something different. Here is a prompt I previously have tried and wanted to try using it in our group. For this exercise you will need a deck of cards of some kind, they do not necessarily need to be standard playing cards, You could use Tarot card or different card game. Draw a random card and allow yourself to make any instinctual connections that you could write a song about. This could be about the number, the suit, the colors.
