About this Event

Join us for Barclays Free Park Tennis, a fun and social community initiative designed to get everyone on the court! Taking place at the newly renovated David Lewis Recreation Ground in Blackley, these sessions are completely free and open to both adults and children of all skill levels.Led by LTA accredited coaches and trained volunteer Activators, our sessions focus on simple games and activities that make tennis accessible and enjoyable for everyone.Why Attend?

• Completely Free: There is no cost to join—just sign up and play.
• All Ages & Abilities: Whether you are a total beginner or a regular player, our sessions are family-friendly. Note: Children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult.
• No Equipment Needed: We provide all the rackets and balls—just turn up in trainers and comfortable clothing.
• Social & Active: A great way to meet neighbours, stay fit, and enjoy the outdoors in a relaxed environment.

• Where: David Lewis Recreation Ground, Charlestown Road, Blackley, M9 7DH
• How to Join: Simply book your spot! While tickets are free, pre-booking is essential to manage group sizes.

Please ensure you book a ticket for each individual player (both adults and children) attending the session. If the weather is unsuitable for play, we will notify registered participants as early as possible via the booking system.
