Mezcla x Evanston Experimental Video Showcase Mixer

We are delighted to share that after two wonderful seasons of partnering Mezcla Media Collective is now the steward of the Evanston Experimental Video Showcase founded by Side/Lot creators Mat Rappaport and Anne Stevens. This new relationship is a launching off point for a program focused on experimental media, rooted in community and elevates underrepresented voices across media in the Evanston and Northshore region in collaboration with Side/Lot’s existing stakeholders, artists, and community partners. This mixer will kick-off a series of quarterly themed micro-screenings and conversations on the state of experimental media and its future through the vision of those actively working in the medium.
