Mexico Ethnographic Field School 2026 - Information SessionsThe Department of Anthropology at the University of Victoria is organizing a second edition of Mexico Ethnographic Field School based at the Maya Intercultural University of Quintana Roo (UIMQROO), Mexico from May 1st – May 22nd, 2026.
Two information sessions coming up:
1. Wednesday, October 22nd, 2025, 11:30 – 12:30, Cornett B237
2. Friday, October 24th, 2025, 11:30 – 12:30, Cornett B237
While exploring ethnographic methodologies, participants will discover some of the unique contemporary cultural practices, social and economic dynamics that characterize contemporary Maya culture in the Yucatán Peninsula.
