Kevin Metzger (guitar) and R. Aaron Walters (drums) bring their Upstate Quartet to Liquid State Brewing for one afternoon set — a mix of through-composed originals, long-form group improvisation, and prog-fusion energy. Joining them are Joe Listrom on keys and Michael Schuler on bass.
This is the third and final night of an exclusive album pre-release weekend run that opens in NYC and passes through Syracuse before landing in Ithaca; the hometown of the band's drummer and creative hub for this project. A good chance for the band to stretch and have some fun to end this run.
Metzger and Walters are the duo behind Many Worlds (2024) and the forthcoming live double album Live New Worlds, releasing October 9, 2026, but availble at the show for purchase.
