Metropolitan Opera SummerStage

Join us for the annual Metropolitan Opera free SummerStage tour stop at Socrates Sculpture Park! This popular New York series is presented outdoors and features rising young opera stars from the Met’s Lindemann Young Artist Development Program. The event is free; no reservations are required.

The Met’s Summer Recital Series is presented as part of Capital One City Parks Foundation SummerStage and funded by the Elizabeth B. McGraw Foundation, in honor of Mrs. McGraw.

Additional support has also been provided, in part, by public funds from the New York City Department of Cultural Affairs, in partnership with the City Council, and in collaboration with the Department of Parks and Recreation.
