The EventArchitect and Urban designer Greg Vendena will be giving a short talk and leading a discussion around the MetroPark project.
About MetroPark
MetroPark is a public space improvement initiative in Ørestad focused on activating underutilized areas around the metro tracks and stations.
The Speaker & Approach
Commissioned by Amager West Local Committee (AVLU), Greg Vendena serves as architect and working group member. He is developing a strategic spatial plan based on:
Site analysis
Stakeholder engagement
Concrete project proposals
He recently designed and implemented a pilot project near the Ørestad Bibliotek as a participatory project together with gymnasium students.
