Friday, January 24th will mark the return of Metro Red, now in 16oz cans!!
Metro Red was originally brewed for DC Beer Week 2015. There was so much positive feedback when it debuted, we had to bring it back and bottled it the following year (2016). Metro Red was originally 100% hopped with Amarillo from 2015 to 2017. We decided to add Citra in 2018 to the later addition boil hops and dry hop to blend with the Amarillo. This process brought out more of the juicy citrus and floral notes.
Metro Red® is an American Red IPA with notes of sweet citrus and pine in the aroma. This medium bodied brew has flavors of dark caramel and citrus, finishing with a smooth West Coast hoppy bitterness. (6.5% abv)
Metro Red will be available on draft and in 16oz cans (to-go).
