Metaphysical Bible Interpretation Course

A Four-Class Unity-Based Course for students, members, spiritual seekers, ministers, teachers, coaches to gain spiritual insight and interpret scripture as a psychological–spiritual map of consciousness, not literal history alone.

Class 1 — The Metaphysical Lens: How Unity Reads the Bible

Designed to shift students from literal or historical interpretation to consciousness-based understanding, establishing Unity’s metaphysical framework.

The Bible is examined as a spiritual textbook, where scripture represents inner experience, not just external events. The metaphysical aspects of the Old and New Testaments.

Class 2 — Symbolism & Consciousness: People, Places, and Events

Covers how symbols reveal inner faculties, mental states, and spiritual laws.

Every biblical element represents: a faculty of mind, a state of consciousness and a spiritual principle in action.

Class 3 — Jesus Teachings & the Christ Pattern Within

Reveals the teachings of Jesus as universal laws of consciousness activation, not moral commandments alone.

Class 4 — Applying Metaphysical Interpretation to Daily Life

Moves interpretation from study to embodiment, making scripture a living guide.

Encourages daily metaphysical reading; scripture as affirmation; prayer as conscious alignment, and denials and affirmations as mental hygiene.

Course Completion Outcomes

Encourage students to be able to: interpret scripture metaphysically, practice Unity-based Bible lessons, apply biblical principles to life challenges, and read the Bible as a mirror of consciousness.

This is a 4-Part course meeting 6:30PM – 8:00PM on Wednesdays, February 10, 17, 24 and March 3, 2026
