The human being is like a cocoon harbouring divine potential. To realise this, a person must undergo a radical change, a complete shift in perspective, an entire transformation which requires a total breaking away from one’s sense of self. Many people try to change aspects of themselves that they do not like, and try to become so-called ‘better people’, but this change is superficial and is just a shift from one persona to another.Spiritual transformation requires a much more profound change where a person takes a journey of pilgrimage inside of themselves to explore and uncover the true essence of their being which lies deeply rooted within their core. Spiritual transformation does not require change of the personality; it requires a shift in perspective which looks beyond the personality and all the way to the true essence of one’s being.
Metamorphosis is about the death of all our self-perceptions and a journey of discovery of what the true self actually is. The School of the Golden Rosycross invites you to join us on this journey as we discuss how this process of rebirth can be experienced.
