Metamorphosis: A Minimalist Piano Experience

Join Pianist Brendan Lesavage for an afternoon of reflective and meditative piano music. Proceeds will benefit the Cypress House Bakery.
About this Event

Join Pianist Brendan Lesavage at St. Luke's Episcopal Church in Scranton for an afternoon of reflective and meditative piano music.

The concert will feature the piano music of Phillip Glass, Arvo Pärt, Erik Satie, John Cage, and Ludovico Einaudi.

Concert proceeds will benefit the Cypress House at St. Luke's, a reentry program supporting individuals recently released from incarceration. It aims to provide a foundation in the baking industry while fostering a supportive network for long-term success.

The facility includes a bakery that contributes to its mission by offering baked goods made by participants. This initiative not only helps individuals gain skills but also raises awareness about the challenges faced by formerly incarcerated people in the job market.
