Messages From the Universe
About this Event
A live tarot comedy show where the universe has a message for you. Unfortunately, it also hired a musician. Part comedy show, part game show, part musical improv, part actual tarot reading. Rounds include: What Tarot Card Are You? — three volunteers, one card each. Your Life Has a Theme Song — live three-card readings turned into improvised songs. Bad Advice From the Universe — audience questions, pulled cards, hilarity hopefully ensuing. Cosmic Court — petty disputes settled by the universe, with musical testimony. And a Grand Finale of callbacks and a final song. Everyone at the door gets a little Message From the Universe to take home, and a chance to anonymously submit a question for the show. 45–60 minutes. BYOB. Presented by Lauren Shaver (tarot) and Nick Cerniglia (musical improv).
Lauren has performed in multiple Don't Tell Comedy shows, comedy showcases, and comedy speed dating. Nick headlines his own shows, hosts his own open mic, plays in a band, and performs private music gigs.
