The heart influences health, wellbeing, and relationships as well as our ability to navigate challenges and experience positive change or transformation. Unhealed emotional pain (personal, transgenerational, collective +) can significantly impact the heart and the spirit-soul/mind-body. It can show up as depression, grief, anxiety, anger, feeling numb or disconnected and in other emotional, mental, physical, and spiritual ways that affect our health and interactions. This negatively contributes to hormonal and metabolism imbalances, inflammation/physical pain, stress related chronic health conditions (epigenetics/gene expression), weakened immunity, alcohol and substance use/abuse, and addictions.
