About this Event

With 4 miles of our green corridor we have numerous opportunities for weeding, pruning, and planting.

**IMPORTANT: LOCATION VARIES***

📍 December 6th Meeting Location: Vizcaya Station Plaza located at 3201 SW 1st Avenue, 33145. Once you arrive at Vizcaya Station, walk towards 26th Rd. the PLANTING SITE will be there. (Check the images up top for a map)

Volunteers:

Wear clothes that you wouldn’t mind getting dirty.
Conduct plant bed maintenance led by The Underline’s horticulturist and the horticulture team.
Will be provided with gardening tools and gloves.
Wear comfortable shoes, apply sunscreen, bring hydration and a hat.

Getting there on December 6th: Vizcaya Station Plaza

🚆 Transportation: Take the Metrorail to the Vizcaya Station, exit north, and head toward the Vizcaya Station Plaza in front of the parking lot.

🚗 Parking: •⁠ If you drive, please use the metered spaces at the Vizcaya Station parking lot on SW 32nd Road and SW 1st Avenue. Amount of available Parking Spaces:125. PayByPhone #30989.

Walk or bike (bike racks are located at the Vizcaya Station Plaza) to the Plaza located on SW 32nd Road. and SW 1st Avenue.

We also need two volunteers for check-in and two volunteers for wayfinding, perfect for those who want to help in a lighter capacity! Check-in and wayfinding volunteers, please email [email protected] to notify me you want to help.
