Join Historic Mesquite, Inc. for the 16th Annual Mesquite Meander, an immersive outdoor theatrical experience where Mesquite's history comes to life in the city's historic cemetery.
Travel through the cemetery as actors portray real people from Mesquite's past, sharing stories of perseverance, service, sacrifice, humor, heartbreak, and hope. Based on historical research, each performance offers a unique glimpse into the lives and events that helped shape our community.
Whether you're attending for the first time or continuing a favorite fall tradition, Mesquite Meander is an unforgettable evening of storytelling, history, and community.
Your Experience Includes
- An immersive theatrical journey through historic Mesquite Cemetery
- Live performances portraying real people from Mesquite's past
- A guided small-group experience led by Historic Mesquite volunteers
- Approximately 45–60 minutes of walking and storytelling

The separate accessible performance will be held at the Lakeside Activity Center. This special indoor performance presents many of the same stories and characters featured in Mesquite Meander in a fully accessible setting. Tickets for the Accessible Performance are available through a separate Eventbrite event.
Every ticket purchased supports Historic Mesquite, Inc.'s mission to preserve Mesquite's historic places, collect and share local stories, and provide educational programs that connect our community with its heritage.
