Merseyside Autistic Adults Walk in Sefton Park
About this Event
UPDATE
New date for Sefton Park is now 27th June due to Oye Festival on the weekend of the 20th, sorry for any inconvenience.
Join us for a walk in Sefton Park to enjoy the trees, lakes and historic features nearby. There are great photo opportunities for those who would like to bring a camera. All entrances, pathways, and facilities (including the café and toilets) are fully accessible and wheelchair friendly.
Meet at the Aviary Cafe in the centre of the park at 10.45am for a 11.00am start to the walk.

If you haven't been to any MAA events before, look out for Jack, who is leading the walk wearing a sunflower lanyard.
After the walk, there will be the option to go to Aviary Cafe, for lunch, or just a drink and an ice cream. Those who prefer to bring their own food and drink can find a seat in the park to eat their lunch outside.
For more information about the history of Sefton Park, please take a look at the website:

We will look at the weather forecast the day before the walk and, if rain or strong winds are expected, we will cancel the outing. Please check our social media pages for updates (see links below) or sign up to our newsletter by emailing [email protected]
Dogs are allowed on the walk, but please keep them on a lead.
Booking is not essential but if you reserve a place via Eventbrite we will know who to look out for. We have a mobile phone which is turned on during outings in case people need to contact us to say they are running late or can not find the group. If you would like the number, please send us an email to [email protected]
