A relatively new walk from The Liverpool Nobody Knows Tour - but one that has been well over forty years in the making!
With the football season over, we’ve got the Dock Road to ourselves.
An afternoons walk from the Liver Building to the end of Regent Road in Bootle - 'the Dock Road.' The group can then take the short walk to Bootle Oriel Road train station and be back in town in less than ten minutes.
The walk follows the mighty northern dock system - looking at the different docks and the historic buildings, streets and sights along the way. Hear many stories as told to me by countless Liverpool seamen and dockers. No tour would be complete without tales of long forgotten murders and even the supernatural.
Great for those interested in Liverpool history and even photography.
We will be meeting outside the front riverside entrance of the Liver Building.
