Dispose of your Christmas tree by bringing it to the Burlington Train Depot to have Burlington Parks & Recreation / Forestry Division mulch it for FREE! All trees must be free of ornaments, lights, and other decorations.For those unable to make it to the Train Depot, Boy Scout Troop 3 will be doing a Christmas tree pick-up fundraiser (within Burlington city limits). The Troop is asking for a freewill donation and all monies collected will go to the Troop’s general fund.
To Schedule a tree pick-up:
Go to Troop 3 Facebook page titled Troop 3, Iowa’s Oldest and send a MESSAGE with your name, address, and phone number.
