Heart of Biddeford is thrilled to invite the community to this year’s Merry & Bright Night on Friday, December 6th, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. on Adams Street in downtown Biddeford. Gather with friends and family to enjoy an evening of holiday performances, joyful activities, festive lights, and delicious treats that will bring warmth to even the coldest winter night.
The evening’s lineup offers something for everyone. Enjoy performances by the Academy of Dance, sharing holiday cheer through dance, and the Salvation Army Brass Band, bringing classic holiday tunes to Main Street. The night will also feature the downtown tree lighting, adding a festive glow to the event.
For younger attendees and the young at heart, Merry & Bright Night features hands-on holiday activities, including cookie decorating with materials donated by Reilly’s Bakery and crafting fun with the Common Roots Studio Art Bus. Children can also meet Santa Claus and take a photo, while families can participate in festive games and activities. And new this year will be a visit from some very special furry guests - the friendly and adorable goats of Scapegoats Brush and Land Clearing Services!
Food and refreshments will be available to keep you warm and energized throughout the evening. Local favorite Coco Bar and Grill will have food for sale, while the Biddeford Recreation Department will offer refreshments and the Biddeford Cultural & Heritage Center will be serving cookies from around the world. Hot cocoa will be available for the community as well.
Heart of Biddeford’s Merry & Bright Night is the perfect opportunity to gather with loved ones and celebrate the season in our beautiful downtown.
