The Merrillville FOP #168 is hosting the 2026 Daytona 500 / Chili Cook-Off February 15, 2026, at the Slovak Club - 6920 Broadway. Merrillville, Indiana. Entry is a $10 donation per person; and for kids 12 and under, entry is free. Your $10 donation will get you entry into the event, a raffle ticket for door prizes, and all you can eat chili and hotdogs. We will have several items for raffles. The raffle items include a rifle, flamethrower, grills, TV, and many other items. We will also have a 50/50 raffle. The chili cook-off is judged and the top 3 winners get to take home a trophy and bragging rights! If you think you have the best chili and want to enter the cook-off, please contact Jamie Welch. We will only have 20 entries, so sign up quickly! We are also starting to sell our raffle tickets for a chance to win a vacation or a cash option. Can't wait to see everyone there! Our fundraisers are always successful with the help of our supporters. See you February 15th!!!
