This six-week journey through Lent invites us to walk thoughtfully toward the cross, exploring the profound depths of God's grace revealed in Jesus Christ. Each week, we will unpack a different facet of the salvation story, moving from the eternal character of God to the enduring hope He secures for us.
Week 1: Mercy for All Time – We begin by grounding ourselves in the unchanging, merciful heart of God—the foundation upon which the story of redemption is built.
Week 2: The Purpose of His Passion – We delve into the "why" of the cross, examining the intentional love and specific mission Jesus fulfilled through His sacrifice.
Week 3: Joy and Sorrow – In the tension of Lent, we explore the paradoxical coexistence of deep sorrow for sin and the profound joy of being loved and redeemed, found in Christ's journey.
Week 4: Mercy Made Manifest – We see God's abstract mercy become concrete and personal in the life, ministry, and suffering of Jesus, displayed most clearly on the cross.
