Mercedes Nieto in Copenhagen - New Year RAQS I’m thrilled to be able to welcome Mercedes back to Copenhagen – our New Years tradition for the fourth time.
Mercedes is a world class dancer and teacher – and a kind person, who shares generously from her vast knowledge of dance and music. Her style is unique and at the same time she manages to stay true to the roots of oriental dance.

Sunday the 12th January 12.00 - 13.45
Technique – Deluxe drilling:
A workshop with toning, dance technique and drilling Mercedes signature flow in different combinations.
Sunday the 12th January 15.15 - 18.00
Choreography - Eskandarani – Shaabi- Baladi:
Sweet and spicy, traditional and innovative - a new approach and choreography to a new and very exciting eskandarani style baladi/shaabi song sang by Hoda Sonbati. We will use our hipscarf as prop.
PRICE for this workshop day: 975 DKR.
If any spots left by 1th December it will be possible to buy spots on a single workshop for 600 DKR per workshop.

LEVEL: Intermediate/advanced. At least two years’ dance experience is recommended.
If you want more…. Mercedes is teaching 2 workshops in Malmø Centrum (different from those in Copenhagen) Saturday 11th - this event is not published yet. In Malmø Mercedes will teach a technique workshop “Five elements” and a lyrical choreography.
