🐾 MEOW TO TYPE 1 This November, we’re hosting Meow to Type 1 — a heartfelt fundraiser and adoption event at Brig Chic Boutique to support Breakthrough T1D (formerly JDRF). 💙
You can be part of it by purchasing a paw print for our Paw Prints for a Purpose Wall!
Customers can donate any amount — in-store or online — and we’ll add a personalized paw print with your name to our growing wall inside the boutique. Every donation goes directly to Breakthrough T1D, helping fund research and resources for families living with Type 1 Diabetes. Donations will be accepted through December 22nd, so grab your paw print and help us turn our wall into a purr-fect symbol of love and hope. 🐾
Then, join us for the main event — Saturday, November 22nd from 1–5 PM at Brig Chic Boutique — as we team up with 12 Inch Tails Animal Rescue for an afternoon of furry fun! Come play with the kitties (and maybe take one home!). 12 Inch Tails is thorough with their adoption process — you can get pre-approved before the event or apply right on-site.

As many of you know, my son Declan has Type 1 Diabetes — and with November being National Diabetes Awareness Month, we wanted to do something meaningful and personal to our journey. Declan has always loved cats and the color orange, and just days after his diagnosis, Kitty Girl appeared out of nowhere and into our lives — as if she knew he needed her. She’s been his little shadow ever since, bringing comfort, laughter, and endless love.
And the sweetest part? This entire event was Declan’s idea. 💙 He wanted to raise awareness for Type 1 while helping cats find their fur-ever homes — because sometimes, love and whiskers are exactly what the doctor ordered. 🐱
