What’s wild around Droxford and the Meon Valley? You might be surprised!
Join us for MEON WILD!, a fun, family-friendly Green & Wildlife Day celebrating the amazing nature on our doorstep — and discovering what we can all do to help it thrive.
Think of it as a village get-together with both the local and wider Meon Valley wild side!
Discover the wildlife living in our gardens, hedgerows, countryside and the River Meon — including the fascinating creatures that depend on our precious chalk stream.
Get inspired with simple, practical ideas to make your garden and neighbourhood more welcoming for wildlife.
Bring the children to enjoy creative, nature-inspired activities and discover the wonders of the natural world.
Meet local wildlife and community groups working to protect and restore nature across the Meon Valley — and find out how you can get involved.
Learn why nature needs our help, and how small actions, taken together, can make a real difference.
And, of course, Wilfrid’s Café will be there with coffee, tea and delicious cake!
Whether you’re a keen gardener, a wildlife enthusiast, a curious child or simply someone who loves living in the Meon Valley, there’ll be something for you.
You don’t need to know your newts from your nettles — just bring your curiosity!
