Join us for a series of FREE mental (health) strength workshops specially designed for people of African descent. The selected topics are designed to help us collectively take care of our mind, body and soul.
The workshops are organised for adults and children. We are creating a safe space learn and build our mental strength while paying special attention to our shared unique heritage. Everything is designed to be fun, engaging and stimulating.
Topics to be covered include:
Stress
Causes of poor mental health among our community
Challenges of first generation people of African descent in The Hague
Effects of these challenges on 2nd generation
Therapy as a way to deal with mental health challenges
Building positive mental strenght.
