About this Event

Mental Wealth: A Community Conversation on Single Moms and Wellness

Every day, thousands of single mothers carry the weight of providing, nurturing, protecting, and leading their families—often while quietly navigating stress, anxiety, isolation, and burnout. These challenges affect not only mothers but the well-being of entire families and communities.

Mpowerd's first Mental Wealth Community Conversation brings together community members, mental health professionals, nonprofit organizations, faith leaders, and advocates for an honest dialogue about these realities and the collective responsibility we share in supporting women who are raising families alone.

The experience begins with a screening of the powerful film Straw, followed by an engaging panel discussion exploring mental wellness, reducing stigma around seeking help, and identifying practical solutions that increase access to care, strengthen community support, and inspire action.

This isn't simply another event—it's an opportunity to help build a village where single mothers feel seen, supported, and empowered to thrive.

Join us as we move the conversation from awareness to action and invest in the mental wealth of our families and our community.
