"Identify. Understand. Respond.
Mental Health First Aid is a skills-based training course that teaches participants to identify, understand and respond to mental health and substance use challenges "(mentalhealthfirstaid.org).
-Serious registrants only please-
This course is for those 18 years old and above. There is no cost to register, but there is a $30 fee for the course book, which will be paid directly to the instructor by each registrant the day of the training. Each registrant will be enrolled in the course a month (at least) before the in-person class to complete two online preliminary modules before the one-day training session.

Teachers, first responders and veterans. They’re neighbors, parents and friends. They’re people in recovery, and those supporting a loved one. They’re First Ladies and Mayors. Mental Health First Aiders are anyone who wants to make their community healthier, happier and safer for all" (mentalhealthfirstaid.org).
Space is limited. Register today. Only those registered are allowed in the training facility, so please plan accordingly, and bring your government-issued ID or license. If you have additional questions, please call (864) 214-5608 or (864)381-8430.
