Mental Health Awareness Luncheon - Kinship Navigator

Catholic Charities, Inc. of Jackson is dedicated to bringing resources, awareness and education to others on how to recognize and appropriately respond to the increased need of mental health services affecting vulnerable populations within our children and families as well as caregivers.

Mental health as defined by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) includes a person’s emotional, psychological, and social well-being. It affects how a person thinks, feels, and acts as well as helps determine how one handles stress, relates to others, and makes healthy choices. As we raise awareness, one will receive helpful tips towards making changes to their day-to-day life.
