World Mental Health Day 2026 – Mental Health Awareness Cruise
Date: Saturday 10th October 2026
Vehicles: Bikes, cars and all types of vehicles are welcome!
Start – Whanganui
Meet: 7:00am – 8:00am
Roll out: 8:00am sharp
Stop 1 – Manaia link up (early energy)
Manaia
ETA: 9:15am – 9:30am
Stop time: 20 - 30 mins
*Quick regroup, photos, roll out together
This builds momentum early without slowing the day later
Leg 2 – Coastal Cruise (Surf Highway 45)
Continue up the coast toward New Plymouth
One of the best driving sections of the whole trip
Stop 2 – Lighthouse / Scenic
Cape Egmont Lighthouse
ETA: 11:15am
Stop time: 30 - 45 mins
*Main scenic/photo stop
*Keep it moving so lunch timing stays clean
Stop 3 – Lunch
Butlers Reef
Arrive: 12:30pm
Leave: 2:00pm
Perfect spacing after lighthouse as no rush, good social time
Stop 4 – Fuel (If Needed)
New Plymouth
Time: 2:10pm – 2:30pm

*Keep it organised and quick
Return – Inland via Hawera
Cruise back toward Whanganui
Depart NP: 2:30pm
