Men's Ministry Breakfast: Gerrick Doss, By Grace From Cars to Chicken
About this Event
Every man has a road behind him.
Some of it he chose. Some of it chose him. And looking back, the parts that made the man are rarely the parts that were on the plan.
Gerrick Doss knows that road. He started at General Motors as a co-op student - a semester working, a semester in class - and spent more than 25 years with GM and General Motors Financial Services, moving through materials management, sales, marketing, and financial services. He finished that chapter as an Area Vice President and Corporate Officer at GMAC, servicing more than $8 billion in automotive assets.
Then he changed lanes entirely.
For 15 years he was the Owner/Operator of Chick-fil-A Harvard Park, serving his own community from behind a counter instead of a boardroom table. He retired in November 2025 - and the same month, released his first book, "By Grace: From Cars to Chicken."
On Saturday, September 12, he's bringing that whole story to the Providence Baptist Church Men's Ministry Breakfast. Not a highlight reel. The real version - the turns, the costs, and the grace that ran underneath all of it.
Come hungry. Leave with something.
WHAT TO EXPECT
