Men's Mental Health Participation Event
About this Event
Men's Mental Health Participation Event - Joe Harvey Suite - Floor 3
An event by NHS Talking Therapies (Vita Health Group) for men — a relaxed, in‑person meet‑up designed to bring men together to connect, collaborate, and share fresh ideas. Have your say on NHS Talking Therapies in Newcastle. This session is open to men aged 16+ living in Newcastle and who are registered with a GP in Newcastle, as well as professionals working with men. It follows on from our participation event in 2025 and it’s all about improving NHS Talking Therapies for men, with open conversations, and gathering useful feedback for NHS Talking Therapies so we can better support men in our community.
During the session, we will work together to explore:
- Reflection and improvements since our 2025 event
- What is working well in the service for men
- Where further improvements could be made
- How accessible and inclusive the service feels
- What you would like to see from Talking Therapies in the future
Your input will play a key role in guiding how our service develops, ensuring it reflects the needs of men across the region.
The event will include open discussions, opportunities to share your views, and the chance to agree on practical actions that we can take forward.
Practical information
- Tea/Coffee and cookies will be provided. Please let us know about any dietary requirements, allergies or preferences.
