About this Event
In her 45-minute presentation, Dr. DuBose will discuss what we know happens to the brain during menopause, common symptoms of menopause, and some low-barrier ways to improve your brain health. There will be time for Q&A after the presentation.
With a drive to progress the research around women’s health, Dr. DuBose’s current research is centered on the influence of female reproductive disorders on heart and brain health in women.
The Aurora History Museum's Summer 2024 Speaker Series aims to share some of the research happening in our backyard with the community. CU Anschutz is a leading center for medical research, and is in Aurora! Come to these free talks to learn about relevant medical advances. These presentations are made for the general public; you don't need to know anything about science or medicine to learn something new here.
Arrive before 4 p.m. to check out our exhibits on Aurora's History and Nepali Culture.
