Hello Frends!
Once you start mending, you know it’s never ending — so let's hang out and stitch together!
This is a monthly BYO project(s) meeting, and while it's not required that you take our Mending or Darning workshops, you will need basic sewing skills and a willingness to show and tell with your new mend frends. If you've never threaded a needle or get sweaty thinking about knots, please join us for a mending or darning workshop first.
We will be sharing snacks and our projects, offering encouragement and motivation to get things done. Some shared tools and materials will be provided, but we encourage you to bring what you need and maybe some extra to share with the group.
For those who need one-on-one help figuring out the best way to tackle a repair, Katrina Perdue offers individual mending mini-sessions that can be reserved with your ticket. Please add a brief note about your special mend so we're sure to have appropriate materials on hand.
Can't get here right at 5, no worries! We'll be here 5-9 drop by when you can.
